Acquisitions Analyst

Tiber Capital Group (TCG), a privately held real estate firm, is looking for a talented Acquisitions Analyst to perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for SFR real estate acquisitions opportunities located in the United States. The Acquisitions Analyst will perform detailed property and underwriting analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties (responsible for all or part of the following):

  • Experience or strong desire to learn underwriting process for single family assets, including Rent, Renovation, Projected Sales Price, Valuation and Strategy
  • Maintain and run financial models on existing assets and/or acquisitions using proprietary models or other similar financial tools
  • Assist with deal process to achieve defined acquisition targets on both the single asset and portfolio levels
  • Evaluate real estate data and technologies used in valuation and underwriting processes
  • Review inspection reports, external valuation data, and internal databases to perform daily acquisitions recommendations for target assets
  • Work with Renovations and Investment teams in the underwriting, due diligence and modeling for current assets and future acquisitions
  • Communicate with various stakeholders in the deal process, including Transactions, Renovations, Property Management, Operations and Executives

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • 0-2 Years of financial analysis experience
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred

Special Knowledge and/or Skills:

  • Demonstrated interest/experience in the real estate/investment space
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

  • 0-2 Years of financial analysis experience
  • Proven analytical skills and problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate/investment space
  • Superior focus and attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact successfully across various teams
  • Understanding of private equity, investment risk and real estate investments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.  This is a remote position with standard office environment requirements.
